BACKGROUND

Bascule Entertainment is a production company that aims to create more opportunities for people with disabilities in the entertainment industry. 

Despite being the largest minority group in the USA, people with disabilities are underrepresented in the entertainment industry. To address this imbalance, Bascule Entertainment Bascule is working to showcase, celebrate, and support the talents of people with disabilities.

CHALLENGE

When it came to crafting its online presence, Bascule Entertainment called upon Designpax's expertise to create a site that was not only visually stunning and informative but also completely compliant with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA).

With the company offering disability-focused production, training, and consultancy, it was important that the website showcased Bascule Entertainment's services and reflected its values and mission.

SOLUTION

After a short discovery exercise with the client, the team started on UX design in Figma. Once the wires were approved, we created UI designs. 

Designpax identified Webflow as the best platform for building the website. Webflow enabled Designpax to maximize the site's visual impact and ensured a quick and seamless launch across devices and browsers. Most importantly, the website was optimized for ADA and WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance using the third-party tool Accessible.

RESULTS

The results of our collaboration is a clean and simple site that informs and promotes the company's services and mission.
